Form No. 30043 ~~)u'h'w1 13 Ql Passed .. o dTiCC No. .......... .............~....... ................ ...... ....J YEAR A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SIGN POLICY FOR CERT AIN RECOGNITION SIGNS WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has placed great emphasis on the placement of orderly and aesthetically pleasing signs; and WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has placed great emphasis on maintaining aesthetically pleasing entry ways to the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Dublin desires to recognize those school sponsored teams, activities and organizations that have received State-wide recognition by placing signage at the City's various entrances; and WHEREAS, Dublin City Council desires to adopt a policy regarding the uniform placement and administration of these signs. N~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that: Section 1. A State Championship/recognition obtained by schools, located within the City of Dublin, will be recognized with the placement of a sign at the following entrances to the City: . Frantz & Tuttle . SR 161 & Sawmill (if sign is not down due to construction) . Sawmill and Hard Road . US 33 south of Martin Road . Emerald Parkway north of Tuttle . A very Road south of Rings . Dublin Bellepoint Road south of Glick Road Section 2. Signs will remain at these entryways for 2 years. Section 3. One additional sign will be placed in the right of way in front of the school receiving recognition. This sign will remain until replaced by the next championship/recognition obtained. There will be no more than one sign at this location at any given time. Section 4. The sign will be of a traffic sign quality limited to 24" x 24" in size. The sign will bear the logo or artwork of no more than three colors and will be approved by the City Manager. Section 5: The City will bear the cost of making and installing the signs for the initial installation. The City will not replace signs lost, stolen, vandalized or otherwise removed after initial installation. Replacement will be at the cost of the school or sponsoring organization. Costs will be applied as required by the City's Annual Fee Ordinance. Section 6: At the end of the display period, all signs on display will be given to the school and may be disbursed in a manner determined by the school. Section 7.
