I! WHEREAS, Ordinance 15-99 established the Dublin Parks & Recreation Advisory !

Ii WHEREAS, Section 6 of Ordinance 15-99 provides certain guidelines for the establishment

I' of a Task Force; and

I, WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission has determined that a Child Care

II Advisory Task Force is necessary; and

'I WHEREAS, the Child Care Advisory Task Force/Committee has in the past provided a great

" service to the Dublin Community and that such a service is still needed.

I, NOW ~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of

II Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:

il Section 1.
II Dublin City Council hereby authorizes the establishment if a Child Care Task Force in
II accordance with Ordinance 15-99, Section 6.
II
II Section 2.
II The Child Care Advisory Task Force shall work under the direction and report all findings
II to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission. The scope of work of the Child Care

!i Advisory Task Force shall be to:

Ii . Compile a Child Care Directory for pre-school, youth, and teens.

Ii Section 3.

II The Child Care Advisory Task Force shall organize and commence work immediately

Ii following the effective date of this Ordinance and shall cease to exist as a body effective April

The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Child Care Advisory Task Force:

Re: Dublin Child Care Advisory Task Force
Staff recommends passage of Resolution 07-01 establishing a Child Care Advisory Task Force.
The following individuals have expressed interest in serving on this Task Force;
Sherry Collins
Janice Davidson
Maj Firouzian
Thalia Johanssen
Susie Kranstuber
Ann Sidesinger
There are three major components that this Task Force would like address;
1. The Child Care Directory for 2000/2001
2. Teaching classes to the public on how to form a babysitting coop
3. Forming a babysitting referral list of adults who would like graduates of our Red
Cross Babysitting Class to call them for future employment
At this point Barb Burkholder, staffliaison to the Task Force, intents to have the Task Force focus
primarily on the Child Care Directory.
The Task Force will cease to exist effective April 30, 200l.
