! A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A LEASE FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
IN HISTORIC DUBLIN FOR USE AS A PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, Grabill & Co. LLC currently owns certain property located in the Dublin
Historic District south of State Route 161, which is described in more detail in the
attached legal description; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid property is currently being used as a parking lot; and
WHEREAS, Grabill & Co. LLC has offered to lease that property to the City of Dublin
for use as a parking lot until such time as Grabill & Co. LLC begins construction on a
nearby project, known as Old Dublin Town Center II; and
WHEREAS, there is a demonstrated need for increased parking in Historic Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the general public will benefit from the increased parking; and
WHEREAS, once the City has entered into the lease, the City will be responsible for
maintaining the property until such time as the lease expires; and
NOW, T~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, , of the elected members concurring, that:
Section 1. City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a lease with
Grabill & Co. LLC for the property described in the attached legal description; and
Section 2. The City will be responsible for maintaining the parking lot for the duration
of the lease; and
Section 30 The lease payments will equal one dollar ($1.00) per year; and
Section 4. Grabill & Co. LLC will notify the City at least ninety (90) days in advance of
intention to terminate the leaseo
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest date
provided by law.

RE: Old Dublin Town Center II - Parking Lot Issues
Pursuant to Council's request, attached are two resolutions addressing parking lot issues
in Old Dublin. The first resolution accepts the donation of property owned by Grabill & Co.
LLC located on the south side of State Route 161. The City will improve this property for use as
a parking lot.
The second resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a lease with Grabill &
Co. for certain property located next to the church that is currently being used as a parking lot.
This lease will continue until such time as Grabill begins construction on Old Dublin Town
Center II.
