Roll call was held as follows Coffman,present,Denney,present,Karrer,present, Macklin,present,Sohontzler,present, and Ulrey,present. ( ~ O~, Joseph Dixon was sworn in as Mayor by Solicitor Donald Rose, and~CharleS Coff was sworn in as a Councilman by Mr. Rose, also. The minutes of the preoeeding meeting were read and approved. Vote thereon was unanimous. Mr. Ulrey was e1eoted the new Council president, with an abstaining vote by Mr. Ulrey. Mr. Denney introduced Ordinance l4-71 dealing with accepting the rates as proposed by the Electrio Co. The Ordinance was read for the first time. Mr.Ulrey moved, seoonded by Mr. Coffman to d~spense with the three time readmn rule. Vote on the mot10n and the Ordinanoe was unanimous. The Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. harness of the Ohio Ut~lity 00. to speak at the next Counoil meet~ng in regard to an area Water and Sewer System.
