RE: RESOLUTION 27-06
SUMMARY:
As in previous years, during the week of the Memorial Tournament there is a need to implement a
plan that best facilitates the safe and efficient movement of traffic to and from the Muirfield area.
In order to do this, the City needs to change traffic patterns and parking regulations in Muirfield
Village to implement one-way traffic on designated streets and prohibit parking on a variety of
streets. We anticipate generally following the same plan we have used in recent years.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of Resolution 27-06, which will authorize implementation ofa safe
traffic plan to accommodate the large volume of traffic for this event.
