The re~ular meeting of the Dublin Village Counoil was held at the munioipal
building at 8:00 P.M. with Mayor Jack Frambes presiding.
Roll oall was held as follows: Denney,present,Dixon,ABSh'N1',Karrer,present,
Mkokltn,ABSENT,Sohontzler~BSENT,Ulrey,present.
The MINUlfijij of the preoeeding meeting were read-and approved.
There were no bills paid or legislation introduoed, due to the laok of in-suff aient
members ot Counoil in attendanoe.
A petition for rezoning was read from 1~. Conrad Carnes and Mr. Ulrey moved,
.eoonded by Mr. Karrer to forward the petition on to the Planning and Zoning
ComDd..ion for their review.
Mr. Smith from Marion Street appeared before Counoil in regard to whether he
oould build a ft'..e ~a Mlllc) ~tr8et ~ an un-att~h.~arage. Council was
unable to determine the solution, but referred Mr. Smi~to persons in the
Village who may be able to answwr his questions.
Mr. Jack Alston ot Burgess & Niple reported that 200 oopies of the new Zoning
Code would cost approximately # 300.00. It was suggested that oopies of the
Code be sold at t 1.50 each and that a record of all purohasers be kept '0 tha
the Village could send them updated ohanges in the Code. He also suggested tha
Council should appoint 5 people to the Board of Appeals and 5 people to the
Arohiteotural Board as soon as possible/. Donald Rose is to review the necessa
Forms involved in the new Code and present them at the next Council meeting.
The fact that no representative of the Village was at the Franklin County Budg
heari was pointed out, and it is hoped that this will not have a serious oonsequenoe
on our allotment from Looal Government Funds for the coming year.
Mr. Snowden requested that the Ordinance to rezone the Coffman tract be with-
drawn. The request was approved by Council.
