RE: Resolution 08-05
INITIATED BY: Mike Epperson, Chief of Police
As in previous years during the week of the Memorial Tournament there is a need to implement a plan
which best facilitates the safe and efficient movement of traffic to and from the Muirfield area.
In order to do this we need the ability to change traffic patterns and parking regulations in Muirfield
Village to include implementing one-way traffic on designated streets and prohibit parking on a variety
of streets.
This resolution allows us to implement a safe traffic plan to accommodate the large volume of traffic for
this event and we anticipate closely following the same plan we have used in previous years.
