01-70 Ordinance " ORDINANCE NO, OJ '/ (.i, VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO AN ORDINANCE RAISING COMPENSATION OF HAROLD ROSE, CHIEF OF POLICE AND STREET SUPERINTENDENT OF THE VILLAGE, AND DECLA RING EMERGENCY I BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State , [- I of Ohio, \/ of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, Harold Rose shall be paid a salary of $2, 760. 00 per year for his performing duties as Chief of Police of the Village. Section 2. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, the said Harold Rose shall be paid a salary of $4, 140.00 per year for performing his duties as Street Superintendent of the Village. Section 3. That the Clerk - Treasurer shall pay said Harold Rose the combined salaries in equal bi-monthly installments on the fifteenth and the last day of each month. Section 4. That in addition to the sum specified in Sections 1 and 2 above, the Clerk - Treasurer shall in further consideration of his services to the Village pay one-half the premium of a basic medical and hospitalization insurance policy for the benefit of the said Harold Rose as agreed upon by the Mayor. Section 5. That the said Harold Rose shall be subject to call 24 hours a day, and that his minimum work week shall be 40 hours per week. Section 6. That the said Harold Rose shall have a vacation of three (3) weeks per year, at full salary, at such tirre as the Mayor may direct. Section 7. That the said Harold Rose shall further be entitled to sick leave with pay, but not to exceed two and one-half (2 1/2) days times the number of months of his service to the Village and his right to sick leave with pay shall not accumulate beyond a twelve month period. Section 8. That this ordinance shall supercede the previous ordinance setting the compensation of Harold Rose as Village Marshall and Street Superintendent, and all provisions of said previous ordinance inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. Section 9. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public , peace and safety for the reason that it is necessary in I I . order to maintain and improve the police protection of the Village; and that this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
