ORDINANCE NO. I j -~ 61 , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN
ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM AGRI-
CUL TURAL AND RESIDENTIAL TO INDUSTRIAL
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1969, a request was made in writing
to V:illage Council to rezone the real estate hereinafter described from
agricultural and residential to industrial; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June 1969, the proposal was
submitted to the Planning Commission of the Village of Dublin, Ohio,
for approval, disapproval or recommendation; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June, 1969, the said Planning
Commission reported to the Village Council that it ArfRot/.cf}
the aforesaid change in zoning; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June, 1969, the contents of
this Ordinance, together with the report of said Planning Commission,
was filed for public inspection in the office of the Village Clerk where
it has remained; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June, 1969, Council set the
matter down for a public hearing to be held on July 7, 1969, at 8:00 P. M.
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 7 day of j <J /... +, 1969, after
due notice, said public hearing was held.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of
the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members
concurring:
SECTION 1. That the following-described real estate
situated in the Village of Dublin, Ohio, shall be and it hereby is zoned
for industrial use and made a part of the industrial district of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, and shall be subject to the regulations as set forth in
Ordinance No.3-54 of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, pertaining to the
industrial district, and that the premises may be used for any industrial
purpose or purposes as set forth in the rules and regulations governing
the industrial district and the uses therein as contained in said Ordinance
No. 3-54 including warehousing and office, and for any of the other in-
dustrial purposes set forth in the rules and regulations governing the
industrial district in said Ordinance No. 3-54:
Situated in Virginia Military Survey No, 2542
in the Village of Dublin, County of Franklin, State of Ohio,
and being a portion of Parcel One as conveyed to Frank A.
and Ruth E. Thomas by deed of record in Deed Book 2392,
Page 585, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, and
bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin at the intersection of the
west line of said Parcel One with the south limited access
right-of-way line of U. S. Route 33 and Ohio Route 161, said
iron pin also being located 11 0, 00 feet right of center station
163 + 56,22 of U. S. Route 33 relocated, as shown upon Sheet
12 of 24 of Ohio Department of Highways right-of-way plans
for FRA-270-7. 47 N;
thence S 890 15' 20" E along the south limited
access right-of-way line of U. S. Route 33 and Ohio Route
161 a distance of 43. 78 feet to an iron pin located 11 0, 00
feet right of centerline station 164 + 00, 00 of U. S. Route 33
Relocated;
thence S 7"P 09' 39" E along the south limited
access right-of-way line of U. S. Route 33 and Ohio Route
161 a distance of 286, 36 feet to an iron pin located 170.00
feet right of centerline station 166 + 80. 00 of U. S. Route 33

line of said Parcel One a distance of 809,21 feet to an iron
pin at the southeast corner of said Parcel One, said iron
pin also being located 30. 18 feet right of centerline station
37 + 51. 49 of Geese Frontage Road (now called Shier- Rings
Road), as shown upon Sheet 7 of 24 of Ohio Department of High-
ways right-of-way plans for FRA-270-7, 47 N (passing an iron
pin in the north right-of-way line of Shier-Rings Road at 748,39
feet said iron pin being located 30.00 feet left of centerline station
37 + 42. 71 of Geese Frontage Road, and passing an iron pin in
the centerline of Shier-Rings Road at 778, 71 feet, said iron
pin being located at centerline station 37 + 47,09 of Geese Front-
age Road);
thence N 870 40' 27" W along the south line of said
Parcel One and along the south right-of-way line of Shier-Rings
Road a distance of 489.33 feet to an iron pin at the southwest
corner of said Parcel One, said iron pin being located 31. 13 feet
right of centerline station 32 + 62. 11 of Geese Frontage Road;
thence N 40 19' 12" W along a portion of the west
line of said Parcel One a distance of 920, 94 feet to the place of
beginning (passing an iron pin in the centerline of Shier- Rings
Road at 31.35 feet, said iron pin being located at centerline
station 32 + 58.47 of Geese Frontage Road and passing an iron
pin in the north right-of-way line of Shier-Rings Road at 61. 56
feet said iron pin being located 30. 00 feet left of centerline station
32 + 54. 96 of Geese Frontage Road);
containing 9.581 acres of land more or less and
being subject to all legal highways, easements and restrictions
of record including parcel no. 316, a O. 68 acre perpetual easement

Thomas to the State of Ohio, said Parcel No, 316 represent-
ing Geese Frontage Road.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be and the same is hereby
declared to an emergency measure necessary for the immediate pres-
ervation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, for the reason
that it is necessary to protect the health of the residents of the Village
and the same shall become effective upon its passage,
