ORDINANCE NO. 08..;; 67 , VILLA GE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE STOPPING,
STANDING OR PARKING OF VEHICLES ON
STREETS AND ALLEYS, 23 FEET OR LESS IN
WIDTH.AND DIRECTING MARSHALL TO POST
SIGNS.

. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State

of Ohio, of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That no persorp shall stop, stand or park a vehicle

upon any street or alley, 23 feet or less inAw idth when properly sign posted,
except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with
the directions of a Police Officer or a traffic control device.
SECTION 2. That whoever violates the provisions of Section 1
hereof shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less

SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall not be deemed to make
lawful any act which has heretofore been ordained unlawful.
SECTION 4. That the Marshall be and he hereby is directed to
post signs prohibiting parking along all streets and alleys which are 23 feet or
les s in width.
SECTION 5. That this ordinance be and the same hereby is de-
r clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public safety for the reason that present parking conditions on the nar-
~ i row streets and alleys within the village presents an immediate threat to the
safety of the children of the village; and that this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
