ORDINANCE NO. 06 - 6,7VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE
IN ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
RESIDENTIAL TO INDUSTRIAL AND DECLAR-
ING AN EMERGENCY.
f" WHEREAS, on January 9, 1967, a request was made to council to
rezone the property hereinafter described from Res identia1 to Industrial;
. and
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1967, the proposal was submitted to the
Planning Commission for approval, disapproval or suggestions; and
WHEREAS, on F ~f$R VARY IQ 1967, the Planning Commission
reported to council that it ApPRovE!> , the aforesaid change in zoning;
and
WHEREAS, on F'e-6fCUAR.'( Zo, 1967, the text of this ordinance
together with the report of the Planning Commission was filed for public in-
spection in the office of the Clerk where it has since remained; and
WHEREAS, on r:e"f!Jt:UAt?Y .:zo , 1967, council set the matter down
for public hearing; and
WHEREAS, on Ap/?iJ... '3 , 1967, after due notice said public
hearing was held.
Il NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village
I of Dublin, State of Ohio, S- of the elected members concurring:
to J SECTION l. That the following described property in the Village of
Dublin, Ohio, shall be and it hereby is zoned for industrial use and made a
part of the Industrial District of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and shall be
subject to the regulations as set forth in Ordinance No.3-54 of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio, pertaining to the Industrial District and that the premises may
e used for warehousing, wholesale distribution, and offices and training
schools used in connection therewith, and for any of the other industrial pur-
poses set forth in the rules and regulations governing the Industrial District in
said Ordinance No.3-54:
Being part of Virginia Military Survey No. 2542 and being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point of intersection of the center line of
Frantz Road with Post Road; thence from said point of
beginning N. 680 47' 55" W. and along the center line of
Post Road a distance of 912. 96 ft. to the point of a curve
bearing to the right; thence with a curve bearing to the
right having a radius of 1432. 70 ft. and a central angle of

SECTION 2. That this ordinance be and the same hereby is de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health and safety for the reason that this action is immed-
iately necessary to prevent a high density residential development of the above
described property which would pollute the wells and streams of the village;
and that this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
