The cost of repairing tnslraffic lite which was knocked down Aug. 22, 1~69
was supposed to be pald by the C.E. Preslen Insurance Co. The Clerk recieved a
letter from the Company stating that they were not responsible. The Clerk was
lnstructed to give the le-cter to Solicitor Donald Rose for investigation.
FIr. l:JcDowell appeared before Council objecting to the propoeed street change
in rogard to Dr. Karrers property. There was a leng~hhy discussion on tne matterl
and it '!ras resolved. that the Eayor and Solicitor inform Dr. Karrer of the
possible alternatives and report to Council at the next meeting.
'J.'ile proDoeed Contract with the City of Columbus for 'Yater and Sewer 1Nas read
and discussed for a long perlod of tfume. It was the general concensus that the
Contract as pronosed. was far too costly to tIle Village. Some alternative
courses of action were debated and there will be another discussion on this
topic at the next Council meeting.
