I -.. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio c;- of elected members concurring: SECTION 1. PATROLMAN 8400 8760 9120 9480 9840 10200 10560 10920 11280 SERGEANT 9120 9480 9840 10200 10560 10920 11280 11640 12000 When a police officer is confirmed by Council, Council may in the ordinance confirming the appointment give credit to the officer for prior service to another law enforcement agency. As used in Schedule I "years" I r, shall mean years of service to the Village as a fulltime police officer I LJ plus credit fo~ prior service to another law enforcement agency or prior parttime service to the Village of Dublin. In such case the confirmation ordinance shall state the number of years and/or months of prior service which shall be credited to the officer for purposes of determining his salary under Schedule I. SECTION 2. That the Clerk-Treasurer shall in further consideration of their services to the Village, pay the full premium of a basic medical and hospitalization insurance policy for the benefit of all full-time employees of the Police Department. SECTION 3. Tha t vacations wi th pay for full- time employees of the Police Department will be granted on the anniversary of hire, unless oUler '", wise approved by the Mayor in the case of Police Department Employees. I -L- . Vacations must be taken within 12 months following accrual, unless other arrangements are made with the approval of the Mayor in the case of I Police Department Employees. Vacation periods shall be as follows: I Two calendar weeks per year for one year through nine - . . years of service. Three calendar weeks per year for ten years through nineteen years of service. Four I calendar weeks per year after twenty years of service. I . J SECTION 5. All Police Officers shall further be entitled to sick leave with pay, but not to exceed one and one-half days times the nuinber of months:;of his service to the Village; provided, however, that said officer may accumulate unused sick leave up to a maximum of one hundred-twenty (120) days. Sick leave shall not be allowed for a period of three (3) or , more days unless the Employee furnishes a satisfactory statement signed by a physician showing that due to injury or illness the employee was not able to perform his duties on the days in question; provided, however, that the Chief of Police, in his sole discretion, may require such a statement in any case in which he deems it advisable. Such statement shall be furnished to the Chief of Police for Policemen. SECTION 6. All Police Officers shall be subject to call 24 hours a day, and the minimum work week for POLICEMEN AND SERGEANTS shall be 40 hour 0 per week. SECTION 7. That all prior ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsis- tent herewith are superseded by this ordinance. SECTION 8. That this Ordinance shall go into force and effect upon its passage.
