Roll Call was held as follovlS: Denney,present,Dixon,present,Karrer, present, IEacklin, present, llicCoy, absent and Ulrey, present. The minutes of the preceeding meetings were read and approved. Joe Ryan appeared before Council to ask that the nud be cleared from the storm Drains at the east end of Longview and Grandview Drives. The ~~yor was to follovf up to see that the job would be done. Mr. Ryan also inquired about I the possibility of a mutual agreement between himself and the Village to share the cost of putting Starn T He on the lower east end of Grandview Drive, which would contribute to the solution of the Starn Drain plugging problem that exists in that area. l'ayor Frambes apDointed Lr. Ulrey, I;~. l\Jacklin and Ii;r. IdcCoy to investigate the problem and nake reccomendations to the Council. }\;Ir. Dixon introduced Ordinance 1l4-69 deal ing 'with the hiring of Donald f1ughes I as a full time policeman of the Village of Dublin. The Ordinance was read for the first time. T~. Karrer moved, seconded by l,r. Ulrey to make an amendment to the Ordinance. Vote on the amendment to the Ordinance was unanimous. I,Ir. Karrer moved, seconded by :,'r. Ulrey to dispense with the three time reading I rule. Vote on the motion was unanimous and vote on the Ordinance was unanimous. , Solicitor Donald Rose read the proposed points for the TIater and Sewer Contract I which he intends to forward to Ifr. Cromean on July 22, 1962. Council was in I agreement on all the proposed points.
