AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 21-71,
INCREASING nrn MONTHLY PAYMENT
I I AND DECLARING AN FMERGENCY
LJ WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin, Ohio, by Ordinance No. 21-71 entered
into an agree~nt with the Board of Town~hiPTrustees of Perry TOlVilship
whereby, for a monthly fee, said Perry T~Wns~ip provides the said Village of
Dublin with various communications, c1er~ca1 and other services associated
with the said Village's Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the said Board of Township~Trustees, by letter dated July 25,
1974, informed the said Village. that the 'said monthly fee was to be increased,
effective August 1,'1974, to $400.00 per month; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the ,Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio
that it is in the best interests of the said Village to continue this contract
under the $400.00 per month fee;

SECTION 1. ' That Ordinance No. 21-71' be, ,and it is hereby amended so
that paragraph 1 of the agreement, which ia a part of said ordinance, reads as
follows.
"1. In consideration of the payment of Four Hundred Dollars
($400.00) per month by Dublin to Perry, Perry agrees to
. provide communication service twenty-four (24) hours per
day and seven (7) days per week to the Police Department
of the Village of Dublin, Ohio."

SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to
be an emergency measure necessary for the :innnediate preservatj"on,.of the public

peace, health and safety and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force immediately upon its passage.
