The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. Roll call was held as follo'Ns: Denney ,Dresent ,Dixon,Dresent ,Karrer, present, r~cklin,present,McCoy,Absent and Ulrey,present. Carnes a Columbus Lawyer aDDeared before Council requesting that Council in the ~ear future add an Apartment Zoning section to the Village Zoning Code. Lir. James l;Talden and Associf1tes apneared before Council and explained the uses whuch he might aDply if he is successful in the purchase of the old Termaer prODerty 25 27 and 29 South High st. in the Villa gee 'Tis uses as stated would be Offices and a Convenience Store Or offices and a Restuartant. These uses set forth by LT. ~alden conform to Zoning District A and Droviding any plans for construction on any of these lots are also in conformity, Counci has no objection to hhese proposed uses. Confirmation was sent to the Franklin County Engineering Dept. that Dublin I wishes to Contract them for Tar and ChipDing of certain desi!T.nated Streets and I Alleys within the Village. I I A letter was written to the State Highway Dept. requesting a letter from them I stating"that the Village of Dublin has the authority to post signs on State I [Ughways in the Village of Dublin! ~ A letter was written to liT. Homer Budge Chairman of the Securities ahd Exchang ComT'1ission in lfiashington D.C. stating that the Village wanted to be on record, in SUPPORT of the Electric Co. merger. : i A motion was made by Denney and seconded by tJacklin to hire Miss L':ary K. Pye as Recreation Director for the summer of 1969. The motion was unanimously aDDroved by Council. " Ordinance 07-69 was inbroduced by LIr. Dixxon, dealing with creating the Carol S. Kennedy Trust fund and the Ordinance was read for the first time. ir. :Jlrey moved, seconded by TiT. Karrer to dispense with the three time read- ing rule. Vote on the motion was unanlmous and vote on the Ordinance was un- animous.
