AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
TO ADVERT ISE FeR P IDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SPRINKLER SYSTEM
AND A FIRE ALARM SYSTEM FOR THE NEW VILLAGE MAINTENANCE PUILDING
ON COFFMAN ROAD: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
\vllEREAS: the Fire Prevent i on Code adopted by Counc i I per Ord i nance
36-74, dated July 15, 1974, requires under Section 35-35, that bui-
ldings of this type, having a gross floor area of 5,000 sq. ft. or
more, must have a sprinkler system, and the Washington/Perry Town-
ships Fire Department requires the in sta II at i on of a Fire Alarm
system:
NO\~, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Counci I of the Vii lage of
Dublin, State of Ohio, (0 of the el ected members concurr i ng:
SECTION I . That the Vii lage Administrator be, and he hereby IS,
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the in sta II at ion
of said sprinkler system and fire alarm system, in accordance
with the plans and specifications presently on fi Ie in the office
of the Clerk-Treasurer. All bids sha II be sealed and shal I be
fi led with the Village Administrator, Vi I lage of Dublin, before
II :00 A.',1. _f\1'l4..\...... 1'\ , 1976, at which time said bids shall
be opened. The Dubl in Vi I lage Counci I reserves the right to re-
ject any and a II bids.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the publ ic peace, health and safety for the
I reason, that the Vi I lage Fire Prevention Code requires that
said sprinkler system ,etc. be installed in the new Dubl in
l Maintenance Pui Iding, and that this Ordinance shal I take effect
