Nigh Street Columbus, Ohio 43215 Gentlemen: In regard to the proposed annexation of 32.706 acres from llashington Township to the Village of Dublin, to come be- fore the Commissioners on November 24, 1976, we offer the following comments regarding the availability of services to the area: SE!°JER SERVICE; As you are probably aware, Dublin is currently constructing Phase I of its Sanitary Sewer System. 1'Je are now in the process of preparing the engineering for Phase II of our San- itary Sewer System. The Sewer Service area contract with the City of Columbus, includes this area proposed for annex- ation, therefore, it is assured that the area can, and will be, serviced by Dublins Sanitary Sewer System, if the annex- ation is approved. l~JATER SERVICE The same statements regarding the Sanitary Sewers can be app I i ed to !'Dater Service, except, of course, the !dater Ser- vice contract with the City of Columbus would apply. Pal. I CE PROTECTION : The Village currently has seven (7) full-time police officers and approximately twelve (12) reserve officers. Communica- tions are handled thru a contract with Perry Township and is very effective and efficient. The Village also has mutual aid agreements with other Franklin County political sudbivi- sions. l~Je feel that we could very effectively provide this service to this area. ~1A I NTENANCE AND I ~4PRC`VE'1ENT5 Dublin has, and will continue to invest monies in equipment in order to provide very effective street and road mainten- ance and improvements. It is our intention to maintain equip- ment and manpower sufficient to keep these services at a very effective level. lumuuuiuu i i ulrnuuo i i a ui i .a"~', ~. ~~t ~~~~ COLUMBUS, OH~rO October 15, 1976 Board of Franklin County Commissioners Franklin County Court House Coluffibus, Ohio x+3215 r~~ vrr.CE OF /'-~ _~ _ ~-- ENRINEERINO DEPARTMENT CLETUS E.
