Enclosed herewith are four (4) copies of a letter received from the
state highway department, through Burgess & Niple, Ltd., concerning
access of the proposed street onto state route 33. Also enclosed
are copies of a plan showing the area where the proposed street
intersects state route 33. Burgess & Niple, Ltd. have prepared this
plan showing the guard rail and location of center divide.
I believe this is the information requested by the Village of Dubl in
Planning Commission at their last meeting.

This letter is in response to your letter of September 19, 1975, which asked
who has the jurisdictional authority for permitting drive access within the
Village of Dublin onto SR-161, where limited access right of way does not exist.
Please be advised that the Village of Dublin has the jurisdictional respon-
sibility of permitting access points from adjacent properties to the highway.
Should the Village of Dublin so request, the Department of Transportation
will be happy to review any plans for an access and advise the Village of our
opinion or recommendation. However, as stated above, it is the responsibility
of the Village to approve or not approve a proposed access request.
Please advise if you have any further questions.

of not le ss than 8- 1 /2 x 11 inches and not more than 16 x 2.0 inches). The map
