LEROY CULLISON: AS POLICEl\1tAN OF THE VILLAGE;
SETTING ms COMPENSATION AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY

., , WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Thomas Leroy Cullison as

Policeman of the Village for a probationary period of six months starting

WHEREAS. Council is of the opinion that the said Thomas Leroy
Cullison is a suitable person for such appointment;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, S- of the elected members
concurring:
SECTION 1. That the appointment by the Mayor of Thomas
Leroy Cullison as policeman of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for a probationa y
period of six months starting FEl3 ~ I , 1972, be, and it

\ SECTION 2. That in consideration of his full time services

\..; to the Village, the Clerk-Treasurer ~all pay the said Thomas Leroy
Cullison the sum of ,. S:Z s: ()O per month
of service, in equal semi-monthly installments on the 15th and last day of
each month.
SECTION 3. That in addition to the sum specified in
Section 2 above, the Clerk-Treasurer shall in further consideration of his
services to the Village, pay the full premium of a basic medical and I
hospitalization insurance policy for the benefit of said Thomas Leroy
Cullison as agreed upon by the Mayor.
SECTION 4. That the said Thomas Leroy Cullison shall
be subject to call 24 hours a day, and that his minimum work week shall
be 48 hours per:.week.

SECTION 5. That upon completion of each six month period
of service to the Village the said Thomas Leroy Cullison shall be entitled
to one week vacation time with pay.
SECTION 6. That the said Thomas Leroy Cullison shall
: further be entitled to sick leave with pay, but not to exceed. one and one-half

i ) days times the number of months of his service to the Village and his
\....:"' right to sick leave with pay shall not accumulate beyond a twelve month

SECTION 7. That the said Thomas Leroy Cullison shall
perform his duties as Policeman under the direction of the Chief of Police
and the Mayor.
SECTION 8. That this ordinance be and the same hereby
is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate

. preservation of the public peace and safety for the reason that the Village
has an immediate need for an additional full time policeman; and that this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
