WHEREAS, the position has been duly advertised and applications have been submitted and interviews have been conducted; and: WHEREAS, Counc i I is of the opinion that WILLIAM L. CALLAHAN xSr is a suitable person for such position; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: SECTION I. That WILLIAM L. CALLAHAN ~e and ~ hereby is, em ployed as an "Engineering Inspector" of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and is to commence employment upon the effective date of this Ordinance and after Mr. Callahan has given notice to his present employer, if required. This six month probationary ap- pointment is hereby confirmed. SECTION 2. The starting salary for WILLIAM L. CALLAHAN ]]lis hereby established as ~13.500.00 per year, and all other fringe benefits such as Sick Leave, Vacation, etc., shall be as prescrib D ed in Ordinance 61-77 "THE COMPENSATION PLAN" for the Village of Dublin, Ohio, adopted by Council, October 17, 1977. SECTION 3. In addition, WILLIAM L. CALLAHAN ~will be paid }50.00 per month as a transportation allowance to cover travel expenses associated with performing his duties as "Engineering Inspector" . SECTION 4. That the duties of said "Engineering Inspector" sha II be as set forth in the Job Description attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A", and said attachment is hereby made an official part of this Ordinance. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de- clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate pre servation of the public peace, health and safety, and for the fur ther reason that a full-time "Engineering Inspector" is currently needed to perform the day to day operations of inspecting various improvements; therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
