RoIl call was held as follovls: Denney, present; Dixon, present; Karrer, present 1~Coy, absent; Sheldon, present; Ulrey, present. i'he scheduled Public Hearing on the requested rezoning of a tract of land belonging to J'flr. C. S. Kennedy located at the South East corner of the intersection of US 33 and iJilcox Rd. was the first order of business. Proponents of the rezoning spoke regarding the nature of the operation and described the proposed building. Initial employment of from 100 to 200, with the possibility of an increase to 400 in 3 to 4 years was discussed. The initial owner of the building will be the T. J. Dillon Const. Co. with a 20 year lease and purchase option agreement. blr. Signer of the 1st. Central Ohio Bonding Co. spoke regarding the desire of his fina to aquaint local residents with the possible sale of stock in the proposed Laboratory. A public meeting will be held for this purpose. ~o opposition to the request for rezoning was expressed from the floor. The Ordinance vms read for the 1st. time . Dixon moved, Seconded by l~rrer, that the proposed rezoming ordinance be introduced and accepted. This is Ordinance 18-68. Denney moved, seconded by Ulrey, that the three time reading rule be suspended. Vote on the motion was: Denney, yes; Dixon, yes; Karrer, yes; il~COY, absent; Sheldon, yes; Ulrey, yes. Vote on the passage of the Ordinance 18-68 W'8.S: Denney, yes; Dixon, yes; Karrer, yes; IVJcCoy, absent; Sheldon, yes; Ulrey, yes. Ordin- ance passes. Resolution 12-68, dealing with land aquistion during construction of the sewer and water improvements, was introduced and recommended for passage by Dixon. The Hesolution was read for the first time. Ulrey moved, seconded by Karrer, to dispense withnthe three time reading rule. Vote on the motion was: Dixon, yes; Denney, yes; Karrer, yes; bbCoy, absent; Sheldon, yes; Ulrey,yes. Vote on Resolution 12-68 was: Denney, yes; Dixon, yes; Karrer, yes; 1.bCoy, absent; Sheldon, yes; Ulrey, yes. Ulrey introduced and recommended for passage Resolution 13-68, confirming the execution of the request for a grant from HUn for the construction of the water and sewer improvements. The Resolution vms read for the first time.
