of Scherers Place to Dulaney Court in the City of Dublin, Ohio
Summary
The Division of Engineering staff, with support of the Division of Police and the Dublin Post

Court.

Staff recommends the street name for Scherers Place be changed to Dulaney Court. Ordinance
14- 07(amended) is presented for adoption at the April 23 meeting. The name change would be

Re: Ordinance 14 -07 Requesting Approval to Change the Name of Scherers
Place to Laser Lane in the City of Dublin, Ohio
Summary
Engineering staff, with support of the Division of Police and the City of Dublin Interim Post Master, is
proposing to change the name of Scherers Place to Laser Lane. The street name change has been
requested by LSP Technologies, Inc. (LSP). LSP has submitted the request due to recurring delivery
problems they have experienced. Other roads within the central Ohio area have similar names, and the
companies located on those roads have experienced frequent and costly delivery errors.
Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of Ordinance 14 -07 authorizing the street name for Scherers Place be
changed to Laser Lane effective April 19, 2007.
