ORDINANCE NO. 3 '1-1 0 VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO ORDINANCE ACCEPTING LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A JET AERATIONTANK FOR THE LIBRARY BUILDING TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF NORTH STREET AND HIGH STREET IN THE VILLAGE AND A UTHORIZING THE MA YOR AND THE CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. \ WHEREAS, the Board 'of Education of the Washington Local , \.-.' School District, the Board of Library Trustees of the Columbus Public Library and the Village of Dublin have entered into a contract whereby the said Board of Education will lease property located at the north- west corner of North Street and High Street in the Village to said Board of Library Trustees for a period of five (5) years; said Board of Library Trustees will move onto said site a portable library building owned by it and maintain said building as a public library for the five (5) year term and the Village of Dublin'will expend money from the Carol S. Kennedy Library or Park Trust Fund for the purpose of ~ -. - preparing said site for said library building and, " WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Washington Local ~. School District has leased said property to said Board of Library Trustees and the foundation for said library building is in process , of construction and, WHEREAS, invitations for bids were made and one bid was received for the installation of a jet aeration tank for said building in accordance 'with specifications on file with the Clerk- Treasurer of the Village and, WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Coffman Excavating Company is the lowest, best and only bid. . . NOW, THEREFORE, be it or~ained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members - concurring: SEC TION 1. That the bid of Coffman Excavating Company for the installation of a jet aeration tank referred to in the preamble hereof in accordance with the specifications on file with the Clerk- Treasurer of the Village, be and it hereby is accepted. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to enter into a contract on be- half of the Village with the said Coffman Excavating Company for , 'I I ,," , II ,. I , , 1.11 I I' I , , I , , I II I I , .'" -- the installation of said aeration tank in accordance with said specifications and for the sum of Eight Hundred Twenty-five and 00/100 Dollars ($825.00) upon the approval of the specifications by the Board of Library Trustees and the Board of Education of the Washington Local School District. Said contract shall specify that any monies in addition to the Eight Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($825.00) stated above for time and material to remove and dispose of rock, shall be subject to the approval of Council. \ V SECTION 3.
