ORDINANCE NO. '"\ \ -~ 0 , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS AS SUBSTITUTE OR
SUPPLEMENTARY POLICE OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE:
AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF A SECRETARY TO THE
RESERVE POLICE FORCE: AND DECLA RING AN EMERGENCY

:....- . BE IT ORDA INED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of

Ohio, of the members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to employ reserve police

officers as substitute or supplementary police officers of the Village,
provided however; that expenditures therefore shall not exceed S'I ~i ~
Dollars per month.
SECTION 2.

The May,or is hereby authorized to employ/suitable person to serve
J as Secretary to the Reserve Police Force. Such secretary shall keep i,

records of the activities and training of the Reserve Police Force. Such I

secretary shall be paid for his or her services at the rate of Two Dollars ':

SECTION 3.
That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be

an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health and safety for the reason that., substitute and \
supplementary Police officers are presently needed to protect the peace, I

health and safety: of the residents of the Village, and that this Ordinance

shall take effect ,and be in force immediately upon its passage.
