ORDINANCE NO. ~r-~/ , OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO.
An ordinance providing for a change in zoning of the property
hereinafter described to permit said premises to be used for church
and religious purposes together with vehicular off-street parking in
connection therewith.
j \ Whereas, Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, has submitted
j to the Planning Commission an ordinance setting forth a proposed
l...; modification to permit the described premises to be used for church
and religious purposes together with vehicular off-street parking
in connection therewith, and that the said Planning Commission has
unanimously proposed and recommended the aforesaid change and that
council did set the matter down for hearing after thirty (30) days
notice and,
Whereas, said proposed hearing was held on the 5th day of June,
1961.
SECTION 1. Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio, that the following described property in the County of
Franklin, Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, to-wit:
Being the West half of Lot 2, except 10 feet off the East
side thereof, the East half of Lot 5, all of Lots 3, 4, 7
and 8 of Elind Sells Addition to the Village of Dublin, of
record in Deed Book 40, page 89, Recorder1s Office, Frank-
lin County, Ohio, together with the vacated alley contiguous
to and south of said Lot No. 8 and the vacated alley known
as Sells Alley between said Lots Nos. 4, 5 and 6 on the north
and Lot No. 7 on the south.
~ shall be and is hereby zoned to permit said premises to be used for
I r church and religious purposes together with vehicular off-street park-
\.I ing in connection therewith; providing, however, that when Lot 3 and
the portion of Lot 2 and the easterly approximately ninety-nine (99)
feet of Lots 7 and 8 referred to above are used for off-street parking,
said lots or parts of lots shall be blacktopped and drained to existing
storm~sewers and/or extensions, if necessary, said extensions to be
constructed by the Congregational Church of Dublin; providing further
that if said part of lot 7 and/or Lot 8 as referred to above are used
for off-street parking a hedge type of shrub shall be maintained not
more than 4 feet in height and shall be planted along the Franklin
street property line and along the property line of the present Neal
property; providing further that not more than one ingress or egress
driveway of 20 feet in width shall be used for each of the aforesaid
lots on Franklin street.
That the vote was of the members present, voting
II Aye II and, voting IINayll, said vote being held and taken at the
regular Council Meeting of the Village of Dublin, Ohio.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be and the same is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure for the pUblic health and general welfare
of the Village of DUblin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will
protect and be for the preservation of the public health, safety and
welfare of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and the inhabitants thereof

upon its passage.
