ORDINANCE NO, 1~-7 3 , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
ORDINANCE EMPLOYING SOLICITOR AND ASSISTANT
SOLICITOR AND SETTING THEIR COMPENSATION
"
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio,
t '5 of the members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1. That Donald G. Rose, Attorney at Law, be and he
hereby is, employed as Village Solicitor for the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, for the year 1973; that Gerald Roger Post, Attorney at Law,
be and he hereby is, employed as Assistant Solicitor for the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, for the year 1973; that said Solicitor and
Assistant Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $300,00 per year, and
in consideration thereof, either the Solicitor or the Assistant
Solicitor shall attend sixteen (16) Council meetings per year; that
said Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor shall be paid the sum of
$25.00 per hour for the preparation of Ordinances, Resolutions,
Memoranda, Contracts and legal opinions, and performing their
duties as Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor not otherwise provided
for herein; that said Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor shall be paid
the sum of $150.00 per day for all trial work; that said Solicitor
and Assistant Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $25.00 per hour for 1
legal services incident to the prosecution or defense of legal
proceedings; that for legal services incident to all public
improvements, including the preparation of legal opinions on aspects
of said improvement programs, the preparation of all memoranda
contracts, correspondence and the like, and for service in connection
...., with the issuance of bonds, and notes and payment thereof, said
Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $200.00
.... plus 2% of the total costs of said improvements, and that said
Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor shall bill the Village of Dublin
, quarterly and shall be paid quarterly for all services rendered as
Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be and the same hereby is
declared to be an emergency measure necessary to the public safety
and general welfare of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason
that the Village has an immediate need for the services of a Solicitor
and an Assistant Solicitor, and that this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force upon its passage,
