HAYES AS POLICEMAN OF THE i VILLAGE; SETTING IDS COMPENSATION AND , I DECLARING AN EMERGENCY II I WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Richard M. Hayes as Policeman I .iv ,'II ~ of the Village for a probationary period of six months starting l\.i8::y 1, 1972; I i ! , and I WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that the said Richard M. Hayes I is a suitable person for such appointment; i i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village I S- ! of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members I concur ring: SECTION 1. That the appointment by the Mayor of Richard M. Hayes as policeman of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for a probationary period of six months starting ~ 1, 1972, be, and it hereby is, confirmed. J ~; lYe I SECTION 2. That in consideration of his full time services I to the Village, the Clerk-Treasurer shall pay the said Richard M. Hayes the I sum of $525.00 per month of service, in equal semi-monthly installments on the 15th and last day of each month. SECTION 3. That in addition to the sum specified in Section 2 above, the Clerk-Treasurer shall in further consideration of his services to the Village, pay the full premium of a basic medical and hospitalization I insurance policy for the benefit of said Richard M. Hayes as agreed upon by the Mayor. I I SECTION 4. That the said Richard M. Hayes shall be subject i to call 24 hours a day, and that his minimum work week shall be 48 hours per I week. I ! SECTION 5. That upon completion of the six month period of ! service to the Village, the said Richard M. Hayes shall be entitled to one week! vacation time with pay. ! I SECTION 6. I That the said Richard M. SECTION 7. That the said Richard M. Hayes shall perform his I duties as policeman under the direction of the Chief of Police and the Mayor. I SECTION 8. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, I declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace and safety for the reaSon that the Village I I ! i I ~ I , .. f' has an immediate need for an additional full time policeman; and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediate ly upon its passage. i I ~' I')' I I 4L.
