TO SET FORTH A STATEMENT OF
MUNICIPAL SERVICES TO BE PRO-
VIDED TO THE AREA IN A PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF 22.266± ACRES FROM
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP-FRANKLIN
COUNTY TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN,
OHIO, AS REQUIRED BY SECTION
709.031 OF THE OHIO REVISED
CODE
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of 22.266± acres from Washington
Township was duly filed by Robert A. Meyer, Jr., the Agent for the
petitioners; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that, prior to
said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement indicating
what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide to the
territory proposed for annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide the following municipal
services for the 22.266± acres in Washington Township-Franklin County
upon the annexation of said area to the City of Dublin, Ohio:
POLICE. The City provides Police service on a full twenty-four hour
basis and communications are contracted from Perry Township. The City
also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities.
FIRE. Fire protection is currently provided by well-staffed departments
in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County and Concord Township
in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with other
municipalities.
SANITATION. Residential refuse collection services are contracted by the
City and would be available.
STREET MAINTENANCE. The City has a Street Maintenance Department which
provides excellent service in the area of street and road maintenance.
Section 2. The City has SEWER and WATER service area contracts with the
City of Columbus and the subject property is within said service areas,
and conditioned on the ability of the City of Columbus to provide WATER,
and to provide sufficient SEWERAGE disposal capacity, the City will have
the ability to service the area.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after the earliest period allowed by law.

This letter is to advise you that on January 15, 1988, the
undersigned, as Agent for the Petitioners, filed a petition with the
Board of County Commissioners to Annex 22.266± acres in Washington
Township to the City of Dublin, Ohio. By Resolution No. 112-88,
adopted by the Franklin County Commissioners on January 26, 1988, a
hearing on the petition has been set for Wednesday, April 6, 1988,
at 10:00 a.m., in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, 3rd floor
of the Franklin County Administration Building, 410 South High
Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43215. I am enclosing herewith a copy of
the Commissioners' Resolution No. 112-88, the petition, the
description, and the map relative to this annexation.
Under Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Dublin
City Council is required to adopt an ordinance or resolution setting
forth the services to be provided to the territory upon annexation.
It will be necessary to present this statement to the Commissioners
at the April 6, 1988 hearing. Please let me know if there is
anything you require from me in connection with insuring the
adoption of a services resolution or ordinance.

territory being described as follows:
Situate in .,the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, Township of
Washington, being., in Virginia Military Survey Number 3004 and being part
of the 20.822 acre tract conveyed to Frank G. and Ruth E. Woodin by deed
of record in Deed Volume 2728, Page 307, and all of a 1.428 acre tract
conveyed to Ray Edward and Leah Mae Higgins by deed of record in Deed Volume
1985, Page 498, records of the Recorder`s Office, Franklin County, Ohio,
