C gr-~'p`}~j~s Pes~~jtrtinn .A~u. 03-88 Form No. 6233-A Fussed - -- - - - ----- -- ------ --19-------- TO SET FORTH A STATEMENT OF MUNICIPAL SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO THE AREA IN PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 2.1± ACRES FROM WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP-FRANKLIN COUNTY TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO, AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 709.031 OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of 2.1± acres from Washington Township was duly filed by David A. Dye, the Agent for the petitioners; and WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that, prior to said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement indicating what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide to the territory proposed for annexation: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that: Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide the following municipal services for the 2.1± acres in Washington Township-Franklin County upon the annexation of said area to the City of Dublin, Ohio: POLICE The City provides Police service on a full twenty-four hour basis and communications are contracted from Perry Township. The City also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. FIRE Fire protection is currently provided by well-staffed departments in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County and Concord Township in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. SANITATION Residential refuse collection services are contracted by the City and would be available. STREET MAINTENANCE The City has a Street Maintenance Department which provides excellent service in the area of street and road maintenance. Section 2. The City has SEWER and WATER service area contracts with the City of Columbus and the subject property is within said service areas, and conditioned on the ability of the City of Columbus to provide WATER, and to provide sufficient SEWERAGE disposal capacity, the City will have the ability to service the area. Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by Law. Passed this 18th day of January 1987. 1, Frances M. A full and accurate description and a plat of said territory so prayed to be annexed are attached hereto and made a part hereof. In support of said Petition, your petitioners state that there are within the territory so prayed to be annexed 2 OWNERS OF REAL ESTATE. David A. Dye, Esq., is hereby appointed Agent for the undersigned Petitioners, as required by Section 709.02 of the Ohio Revised Code. Said agent is hereby authorized to make any amendment and/or deletion which in his absolute and complete discretion is necessary or proper under the circumstances then existing, and in particular to make such amendment in order to correct any discrepancy or mistake noted by the Franklin County Engineer in his examination of an amended plat and description to the Board of Commisioners on, before, or after the date set for hearing on this Petition.
