TO SET FORTH A STATEMENT OF MUNICIPAL
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO THE AREA IN
PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 2.1± ACRES
FROM WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP-FRANKLIN COUNTY
TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO, AS REQUIRED
BY SECTION 709.031 OF THE OHIO REVISED
CODE
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of 2.1± acres from Washington
Township was duly filed by David A. Dye, the Agent for the petitioners;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that, prior to
said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement indicating
what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide to the
territory proposed for annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide the following municipal
services for the 2.1± acres in Washington Township-Franklin County upon
the annexation of said area to the City of Dublin, Ohio:
POLICE The City provides Police service on a full twenty-four hour
basis and communications are contracted from Perry Township. The City
also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities.
FIRE Fire protection is currently provided by well-staffed departments
in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County and Concord Township
in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with other
municipalities.
SANITATION Residential refuse collection services are contracted by
the City and would be available.
STREET MAINTENANCE The City has a Street Maintenance Department which
provides excellent service in the area of street and road maintenance.
Section 2. The City has SEWER and WATER service area contracts with the
City of Columbus and the subject property is within said service areas,
and conditioned on the ability of the City of Columbus to provide WATER,
and to provide sufficient SEWERAGE disposal capacity, the City will have
the ability to service the area.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after the earliest period allowed by Law.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
TO THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN OF
2.1 ACRES, MORE OR LESS,
IN THE TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON
TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO
The undersigned, petitioners in the premises, and being a
MAJORITY OF OWNERS OF REAL ESTATE in the territory described,
consisting of 2.1 acres, more or less, in the Township of
Washington, which are contiguous and adjacent to the Village of
Dublin, do hereby pray that said territory be annexed to the
Village of Dublin, according to the statutes of the State of
Ohio.
A full and accurate description and a plat of said territory so
prayed to be annexed are attached hereto and made a part hereof.
In support of said Petition, your petitioners state that there
are within the territory so prayed to be annexed 2 OWNERS OF
REAL ESTATE.
David A. Dye, Esq., is hereby appointed Agent for the
undersigned Petitioners, as required by Section 709.02 of the
Ohio Revised Code. Said agent is hereby authorized to make any
amendment and/or deletion which in his absolute and complete
discretion is necessary or proper under the circumstances then
existing, and in particular to make such amendment in order to
correct any discrepancy or mistake noted by the Franklin County
Engineer in his examination of an amended plat and description
to the Board of Commisioners on, before, or after the date set
for hearing on this Petition.

Situate in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, Washington Township, part
of Virginia Military Survey No. 2544 and being all of Lot Number Nine (9) of
Dublin Estates Subdivision, as the said lot is numbered and delineated upon the
recorded plat thereof, of record in Plat Book 27 page 49A, records of the
Recorder's office, Franklin County, Ohio, and being more particularly described as
follows.
Beginning at a point in the ~oesterly right-of-way line of Bellaire Avenue at
the southeasterly corner of the said Lot Number 9 said point also being in the
existing City of Dublin Corporation line as established by Ordinance Number 32-82
and shown of record in O.R. 2401B02;
Thence Westerly, a distance of 609 feet, more or less along the said existing
corporation line and the southerly line of said Lot Number 9 to a point at the
southwesterly corner of said Lot;
Thence Northerly, a distance of 147 feet, more or less, along the westerly
line of said Lot ivTUmber 9 to a point at the northwesterly corner of said Lot;
Thence Easterly, a distance of 639 feet, more or less along the northerly
line of said Lot Number 9, to a point in the westerly right-of-way line of said

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, Ohio,
are presented the petition for annexa[ion of certain adjacent territory
to the City of Dublin, Ohio, filed by David S. and Sue F. Buchan, signed
by David S. Buchan and Sue F. Buchan and appointing David A. Dye,' Esq.
as agent for the said territory being described as follows:
Situate in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, Washington Township,
part of Virginia Military Survey No. 2544 and being all of Lot Number Nine
C9) of Dublin Estates Subdivision, as the said lot is numbered and delineated
upon the recorded plat thereof, of record in Plat Book 27, page 49A, records

Franklin County Zoning Office; now, therefore, upon the motion of

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY,
OHIO:
Section 1. That a hearing upon said petition shall be held
in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, 3rd Floor of the
Franklin County Adminia[ration Building at 10:00 A.M. on February
3, 1988; and
Section 2. That the Zoning Director to the Board of County
Commissioners be and hereby is directed to notify the agent of
the petitioners of the time and place of said hearing.
