TO SET FORTH A STATEMENT OF MUNICIPAL
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO THE AREA IN
A PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 53.0 ACRES
FROM WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP-FRANKLIN COUNTY
TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO, AS REQUIRED
BY SECTION 709.031 OF THE OHIO REVISED
CODE
S, a petition for the annexation of
Township was duly filed by Harrison Smith,
petitioners; and
53.0± acres from Washington
Jr., the Agent for the
WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that, prior to
said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement indicating
what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide to the
territory proposed for annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The Cite of Dublin will provide the following municipal
services for the 53± acres in Washington Township-Franklin County upon
the annexation of said area to the City of Dublin, Ohio:
POLICE. The City provides Police service on a full twenty-four hour
basis and communications are contracted from Perry Township. The City
also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities.
FIRE. Fire protection is currently provided by well-staffed departments
in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County and Concord Town-
ship in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with other
municipalities.
SANITATION. Residential refuse collection services are contracted by
the City and would be available.
STREET MAINTENANCE. The City has a Street Maintenance Department which
provides excellent service in the area of street and road maintenance.
Section 2. The City has SEWER and WATER service area contracts with the
City of Columbus and the subject property is wtihin said service areas,
and conditioned on the ability of the City of Columbus to provide WATER,
and to provide sufficient SEWERAGE disposal capacity, the City will have
the ability to service the area.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.

of the Ohio Revised Code, you are hereby notified that,

in the office of the Board of County Commissioners of
Franklin County, Ohio.

Situate in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, Township
of Washington, being located in Virginia Survey No. 2543 and
bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the existing
City of Dublin corporation line, as established by Ordinance
No. 38-74 and of record in Miscellaneous Record 163, Page 404
with the existing City of Dublin corporation line as
established by Ordinance No. 22-86, said point also being in
the northerly right-of-way line of Brand Road (Brand Road
right-of-way being 45 feet in width), at the intersection of
