Re: Request to vacate an easement for Lot No. 1178,
Muirfield Subdivision, Phase 24
Dear Sherman:
After my discussion with Pat Bowman today or. the proposed regrading
and vacating a portion of the current detention basin easement on
the above Lot, No. 1178, he said a revision of this nature could be
handled directly by Village Council.
Therefore, I am requesting to be pL.t on the docket for the August 18
Council meeting. I am requesting, per attachment 'A' that the easement
area be vacated as follows: from a point beginning at the intersection
of lines 'D' & 'C' a new line shall run S 70° 10' 30" W to the east
property line. A11 area south of this new line shall be vacated and
construction shall be permissible in this area.
Enclosed are several drawings showing the existing grading/easements
and proposed new grading/easements. Also attached are copies of approval
letters from Muirfield along with revised engineering calculations from

Attention: Dick Rauh
Dear Mr. Rauh:
The enclosed revised grading plan for T?uirfield Lot 1178
has reduced volume, higher water elevation and higher outflow.
I believe the outflows are acceptably close to the allowable.
There is very little change at the Glick Road bridge (the 100-
year is even slightly reduced).
If in the original design I had set the overflow at 894.7
instead of 894.6, the overflow component of the outflow would.
be reduced enouch so that all outflows would be less than the
allowable.
Copies are enclosed for you to forward to Newt Mattison
and Bruce Plarner for their approval.
Yours very truly,
BAUER, DAVIDSON & MERCHANT, INC.
