FORM NO. 10148 Relo November 22, 1999 19 Mayor Kranstuber called the Special Meeting of November 22, 1999 to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll Call ,~ Council members present were: Mayor Kranstuber, Vice Mayor Boring, Mr. Adamek, Mr. McCash, Mr. Peterson, Ms. Hide Pittaluga. Mr. Reiner arrived at 7:15 p.m. Staffmembers present included Mr. Hansley, Mr. Harding, Chief Geis and Special Counsel Bob Weisman. Request to approve fee waiver for adjudication hearin2 re 7215 Keiler Court Mr. Hansley stated that it is the recommendation of staff to waive this fee. Background information is outlined in the memo from Mr. Hale which was forwarded to Council. Mrs. Boring asked if the basement remodeling will be code compliant as a result of this adjudication process. Mr. Hansley stated that is correct. The inspection will determine what items need to be done to ensure compliance with the building code. The former owners neglected to obtain a permit for basement remodeling work and therefore an adjudication hearing will be necessary to resolve the outstanding building code issues.. Mayor Kranstuber moved to approve the waiver of adjudication hearing fees for 7215 Keiler Court. Ms. Hide Pittaluga seconded the motion. Vote on the motion - Mr. Adamek, yes; Mayor Kranstuber, yes; Mrs. Boring, yes; Mr. McCash, yes; Mr. Peterson, yes; Ms. Hide Pittaluga, yes. Mr. Reiner arrived at this point. Mayor Kranstuber moved to adjourn to executive session for personnel and legal matters. ~ Ms. Hide Pittaluga seconded the motion. Vote on the motion - Mayor Kranstuber, yes; Mr. Reiner, yes; Mrs. Boring, yes; Mr. I McCash, yes; Mr. Peterson, yes; Ms. Hide Pittaluga, yes; Mr. Adamek, yes. Mayor Kranstuber noted that Council will reconvene following this executive session. Council invited Council Member Elect Chinnici-Zuercher to join them in the executive seSSIOn. Mayor Kranstuber reconvened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Kranstuber noted that Council will reject the fact finders report for the Police union. There are some key issues related to scheduling of Police officers, which have not been resolved. The negotiations are moving forward, but the present proposal is not workable from City staffs viewpoint. Mayor Kranstuber moved to reject the Factfinding Report issued November 19, 1999. Mr. Reiner seconded the motion. Vote on the motion - Mr. Adamek, yes; Mayor Kranstuber, yes; Mr. Reiner, yes; Mrs. Boring, yes; Mr. McCash, yes; Ms. Hide Pittaluga, yes; Mr. Peterson, yes. Mayor Kranstuber moved to adjourn to executive session for personnel and legal matters, noting that Council will not reconvene tonight. Mr. Reiner seconded the motion.
