HomeMy WebLinkAbout05/15/1967 ~24 l'he regular meeting of the Dublin Village Council was held on IvAy 15, 1967 at the Municipal building with Mayor Jack Frambes Presiding. o Roll Call was held as follows: Dixon, present; Karrer, present; 1,J()C0Y, present Sheldon, present; Smith, present; Ulrey, present. '1'.he first order of business was the scheduled pubIc hearing on "i:;he Indian Run Buffer strip. There being no public opposition .co "bhe proposed ordinance, Ulrey moved, seconded by Dixon, that council dispense with the three time read- ing rule. Vote on the motion was:una.nimous. Vote on the Ordinance was unanimous. Council ,heard a letter from lV1r. Don Eberly of the Village appealing the deoision of the Building Inspeotor de~ing a buildin permit for a residence on So. Kiverview due to the fact that "i.;he lot does not meetche requiremnts of the L.oning Ordinanoe in effeot in the Village. Mr. Eberly was present and was rep- resented by Mr. Robert Brigham. Their contention was that this was a. lo-l:; of reoord a~ of the date of passage of the zoning ordinance and also that theJ denial of the permit was a violation of the owners constitutional rights to his property. Ulr Rose spoke in opposition to this argu:nent and final deoisions were reserved for the June 5, 1967 meeting. The clerk was instruoted to write to the County Engineer regarding the following items: Guard rails on So. High ~t., Grate at Gra.nd.view Ave., Street surfaoing, and ditoh grading at the High School. Dixon moved, seconded by Karrer, that the warshal be allocated $25.00 for 0,.,.. expenses inourred during the " Cleanup week Ii. Vote on the IOOtion was unaniIoous. .. A paint par-by was scheduled for llAy 20, 1967 to paint the new lYlUnioipal Build- ing. The item of Sanitary Regulations was plaoed on the adgenda for the June 5, 1967 ueeting.
