l'he regular meeting of the Dublin Village Counoil was held on :May 1, 1967
at the ~mnioipal Building with mayor Jaok Framhes presiding.
.l.he first order of business was the soheduled public hearing on the proposed
Sub-division Regulations.
Roll oal1 was held as follows: Dixon, present; Karrer, absent; l~Coy,
present; Sheldon, present; Smith, present; Ulrey, present.
Ordinanoe 12-67 was read for the first time. J.his is the ::,)ub-division
Kegilations ordinanoe. '<.uestions regarding the zoning in new: areas were
raised from the audience and J'iJr. J.'J.Ioffitt and Mr. Rose answered that this
ordinanoe does not in itself deal with zoning. Kequiring sanitary sewers
and water lines was disoussed with the general feeling being that this
'Would have the effect of restricting any developement at our~present stage
of planning. Buried utilities were discussed with the feeling being that
since FHA requires them, that it would be desirable to include in our reg-
ulations as soon as practivable. Septio systems were disoussed with the
feeling that aereators should be required but that this would fall into
the sanitary regulations which will be disous sed later. Chuok l'ay10r
recommended strengthening the regs in the area of drainage plans. Further
disoussion was tabled till the l\Jay 15 meeting.
The minutes Qf the April 3 and April 17 regular meetings and the April 24
Special meeting were read and approved.

McCoy moved, seoonded by Smith, that the bills be paid. Vote thereon
was: Dixon, yesJ Karrer, absent; Sheldon, yes; Ulrey, yes.
Sheldon introduced Resolution 08-67 changing the meeting place of the
Counoil to the new building at 129 So. High St. Ulrey moved, seconded by
Dixon, to dispense wi-c;h -Gile ~hree 'Gime reading rule. Vote on the motion
was: Karrer, absent; li~COY, yes; Sheldon, yes; Smith, yes, Vote on the
Resolution was: Dixon, yes; Karrer, absent; .woCoy, yes; Sheldon, yes;
Smith, yes; Ulrey"yes.
