Home My WebLink About02/06/1967 215 ~ The regular monthly meeting of the Dublin Village Counoil was held on February 6, 1967 at 8 :00 PM at the :r..funioipal Building with Mayor Jack Frarnbes presiding. Roll oall was held as follows: Dixon, present; Karrer, present; MCCoy, present; Sheldon, present; Smith; present; Ulrey, present. The first order of business: was the soheduled Publio Hearing on the requested re zoning of 28 aores belonging to mr. Workman. Mr. Paokard presented the proposed usage of the property and answered questions from the floor. There was no appearant opposition to the rezoning as requested. The Public Hearing was olosed and the regular meeting called to order. The Minutes of the January 16, 1967 meeting were read and approved. Vote thereon was unanimous. Ulrey moved, seconded by Dixon, to dispense with the cthree tlilIIle reading rule on Ordinance 23-66 pertaining to the rezoning of the 28 aores be- longing to Mr. Worlanan. Vote on the motion was "unanimous. Vote on the approval of the Ordinanoe(23-66) was unanimouS. Counoil discussed a new contraot for street ligbting but took no astion. }~. Cliff Purvis addressed Counoil regarding the proposed land use reo- oommendations for the land bordering on SR 16l on the East side of the River. He reoooIllIMnded a.'Commercial olassifioation for the entire a.rea. bounded by SR 257, L 270, Sawmill Rd., and SR i61. Mayor Frambes and Mr. Smith were asked to study the pro's and oon' s of transfering land in Perry TWp., Dublin Corp. to Washington Twp. Dublin Corp. and report to Council. [ Dixon introduoed Ordinanoe 06-67 pertaining to the rezoning of 106 aores belonging to John L. McKitrick and H~rold A. Shriver. Ulrey introduoed Ordinance 07-67 pertaining to the creation of a new zoning district. Sheldon moved that the ordinance be referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for reccomm~ndation. 216 February 6, 1967 cont. McCoy spoke regarding Health Department requirements and how they apply to the Village. o The Solioitor was instruoted to draw a Resolution sf Necessity for the proposed Monterey Dr. storm sewer.
