AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ANNEXATION OF 104.5 ACRES, MORE
OR LESS, OF PROPERTY FROM WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, FRANKLIN
COUNTY TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin desires to annex from Washington Township 104.5
acres, more or less, of property located south of Dublin Park Drive and west of Cosgray
Road that is owned in fee simple by the City of Dublin as depicted in the annexation
plats attached hereto as Exhibits Al, A2, and A3 and legally described in the attached
Exhibits B1, B2, and B3; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 709.16, the City of Dublin has the
authority to petition the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, State of
Ohio, to annex this property as the property is contiguous to the corporation line of the
City of Dublin, and the property is owned in fee simple by the City of Dublin.
WHEREAS, upon receipt of an annexation petition from the City of Dublin for the
annexation of the property, the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County,
State of Ohio, shall grant the annexation petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
Delaware, Franklin, and Union Counties, State of Ohio, "/_ of the elected members
concurring, that:
Section 1. The City of Dublin hereby authorizes the annexation from Washington
Township of 104.5 acres, more or less, of property located south of Dublin Park Drive
and west of Cosgray Road that is owned in fee simple by the City of Dublin as legally
described in the attached Exhibits A1, A2, and A3 and depicted in the annexation plats
attached hereto as Exhibits Bi, B2, and B3.
Section 2. The City Law Director and City Clerk are hereby authorized to file an
annexation petition for the annexation of this property with the Board of County
Commissioners of Franklin County, State of Ohio.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the
earliest date allowed by law.

202109290174091 and part of that railroad right of way as described in deed to New York Central
Lines LLC, of record in Instrument 200212180325201, all being of record in the Franklin County,
Ohio Recorder’s Office, and being further bounded and described as follows:
Beginning, for Reference, at the Franklin County Monument (FCGS) 5534 at the centerline
intersection of Cosgray Road (Right of way varies) and Shier-Rings Road (Right of way
varies), also being a point in the easterly line of that 0.482 acre tract as described in deed to
