The regular monthly meeting of the Dublin Village Counoil was held Monday
evening, September 13, 1965 at the J.funioipal Building with Mayor Lewis Geese
presiding. The meeting was oalled to order at 8 :00 P.M.

Roll oall was held as follows, Dixon, present, Karrer, present; Sheldon, pres-
ent; Smith, present; Ulrey, present; Waoker, absent.
Thesoheduled public hearing on the proposed amendment of the village zoning
ordinanoe was held before the business lIIl!teting. Aproximately twenty persons
were present for the hearing. After the reading of the appropriate ordinanoe
and the proposed amendment by the olerk the lIIl!teting ~s opened for disoussion
from the floor. Several questions were asked regarding the effeot of the
ohange but no opposition W9JS expressed at all. M'ter asldng for all pertin-
ent oomments and reoieving none the Mayor olosed the hearing and prooeeded
with the Counoil Meeting.
The minutes of the August 2, 1965 :meeting were read. Dixon moved, seoonded by
Ulrey, that the minutes be approved as read. Vote on the motion was: Karrer,
yes; Sheldon, yes; Smith, yes.

Sheldon moved, seoonded by Dixon, that the bills be paid. Vote on the motion
was: Karrer, yes; Smith, yes; Ulrey, yes.
Ordinanoe 14-65 authorizing oounoil to aooept the anaexation of i. acres
sought by Earl Headlee etal. in Perry Township -was introduoed by Sheldon.
Ulrey moved, seconded by Dixon to dispense with the three time reading rule.
Vote on the motion was: Karrer, yes; Sheldon, yes; Smith, yes;. Vote on
ordinanoe 14-65 was: Dixon, yes; Karrer, yes; Sheldon, yes; Smith, yes; Ulrey,
yes, Waoker, absent.

Ordinanoe 15-65 amending the Village Zoning Ordinanoe 03-54, seotion 2&. was
introduoed by Dixon. The effeot of this amendment is to oonfer upon the Zoning
& Planning Commission the authority to W!live, in oertain instanoes, the minimum
lot size requirements in the Commeroial Distriots of the village. Karrer moved,
seoonded by Smith, that the three time readjng rule be dispensed with. Vote on
the motion was: Dixon, yesJ Sheldon, yes; Ulrey, yes. Vote on ordinance 15-65
was: Dixon, yes; Karrer, yes; Sheldon, yes; Smith, yes Ulrey, yesJ' Wacker, absent.
Counoil was addressed from the floor regarding approval of the use of the prope J.
erty just East of the new post office, known as the Diok Litzinger property, .

all' a veterinarian hospital. S:inoe this use is in violation of the present
zoning lawS'the matter was refered to the Zoning &: Planning Conmdssion
for reoommendation.
Counoil w&s' advised by the Mayor that the Dedication cerimonj' for the new
Post Office would be held on October 17, 1965.
Resolution 04-65 was introduced by Sheldon and seoonded by Smith. Vote on
the resolution was: Dixon, yes; Karrer, yes Ulrey, yes. Counoil hereby
resolved that certain property owners were to be notified by the clerk to
oause unhealthful and unsafe conditions to be corrected on ,their properties=.
The names of the effected property owners are on file in the clerk's office.
The clerk was instructed to write to the County Engineer for eight (8)
"'Corporation limit" signs end to write to Mr. Frank Williams, Division 6,
Department of Highways, Stat. of Ohio regarding the dangerous condition
that exists' a~ the East end of the bridge in the village.
The :meeting was adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
