Roll Call: Bellows - present Eger - present Frambes - present George Eger introduced ordinance Thomas, seconded by Bellows that 3 times reading rule in order to measure. Vote was as follows: Termeer - present Thomas - present Wacker - present #06-60. Motion made by we dispense with the pass this as an emergency Eger - yes Frambes - yes Termeer - yes Wacker - yes Motion made by Wacker, seconded by Frambes that Ordinance 06-60 be adopted. Vote as follows: Bellows - yes Eger - yes Termeer - yes Thomas - yes ORDINANCE 06-60: o Ordinance requiring water wells to have a minimum cased depth of ninety (90) feet. Be it Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, 6 of the members elected herein concurring: SECTIONl. That from the effective date of this ordinance every water well drilled in the Village of Dublin shall have a minimum depth of ninety (90) feet and every well drilled shall be cased down a minimum of ninety (90) feet. SECTION 2. That no water well shall be drilled in the Village of Dublin, Ohio, unless prior to said drilling a permit for said drilling has been secured from the Building Inspector of the Village of Dublin. SECTION 3. That within five (5) days after the completion of a drilling of a well within the Village of Dublin, Ohio, a report shall be made by the Drilling Con- tractor to the Building Inspector as to the depth of the well drilled and as to the number of feet said well was cased down and such other information as the Building Inspector may desire such as the flow of water, the hardness of the water and matters of such a nature. (J SECTION 4. That this ordinance be and the same is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public health and general welfare of the Village of Dublin , Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will protect the general health of the inhabitants of the Village by attempting to prevent contamination of a water supply by infiltration from septic tanks, and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in 88 ... ..... force immediately upon its passage. a /s/ Charles Thomas Pres. of Council Passed this 9th day of May, 1960 /s/ Lewis Geese, Mayor Attest: /s/ Betty Sidle, Clerk A special hearing is to be held on June 13 regarding adoption of Ordinance 07-60 and 08-60.
