Mayor Geese made the recommendation that Gary Termeer be made our Village Marshall @ 1.75 per hour plus $50.00 per year. This is to be on a 6'-100. basis. Motion made by Eger, seconded by Waoker; vote thereon al!l follows: Bellows - yes, Frambes - yes, Termeer - pass, Thomas - yes. Motion made by Thomas, seoonded by Termeer that we dispense with the rules in order to make way for the following Ordinanoe. Vote thereon as follows: Bellows - yes, Eger - yes, Frambes - yes, Waoker - yes. Motion made by Eger, seoonded by Bellows that Ordinance 04-60 be adopted. Vote thereon as follows: Frambes - yes, Termeer - yes, Thomas - yes, Waoker - yes. o 83 ORDINANCE No. 04-60 VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO. c Ordinanoe appointing Gary Termeer, Marshall of Village of Dublin, and setting the oompensation of the Marshall. Be It Ordained by the Counoi1 of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, all six of the members elected herein oonourring: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the authority given by the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and after the appointment and reoommendation by the Mayor, Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, dies hereby ratify, oonfirm and appoint Gary Termeer as Marshall of the Village of DUblin, Ohio, and does hereby provide for his compensation as Marshall. . SECTION 2. For compensation for performing the nominal du~es as Village Marshall the Marshall shall be paid the sum of Fifty Dollars (~.OO) per year and in addition thereto, when said Marshall is doing police work and other work as requested by the Village Mayor, the oompenBation of the Marshall shall be at the rate of One Dollar Seventy-five Cents ($1.75) per hour for suoh time as he is on po1ioe duty and other duties as hereinbefore designated in addition to his nominal duties as Village Marshall. SECTION 3. Said Village Marshall shall keep a written reoord of his hours of employment and shall submit the same to the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, at weekly intervals. u SECTION 4. That this Ordinanoe be and the same is hereby deo1ared to be an emergenoy measure necessary for the pub1io safety-and general welfar0 of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will enable the Village to have better po1ioe servioe and is appointing a Village Marshall and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be in foroe immediately' upon its passage. TEMPORARY RESOLUTION IN RE SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO. 1JI1HEREAS, the year 1960 marks the l50th year of the found ing of Dub lin, Ohio, and WHEREAS, this important milestone provides an opportunity to focus our attention on the g~h and progress of our Village, and \~EREAS, there has been formed a oitizens committee to oarry out plans for oelebrating this memorable event, and \~, it is the desire of us all that this event be a self-sustaining event finanoially, BE IT HEREBY KNOWN, that the Celebration Committee antianpates revenue from such projeots as admissions to an historioal pageant spectaole, a historical program advertising booklet, a oarniva1 and sale of suoh novelties and souvenirs as Booster Badges, Membership Certifioates, Wooden Money, Hats, Bonnets, Old Fashioned Wearing Apparel, Ties, Plates and similar itemS, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that no individual, oompanY or organization will sell, trade, or give away anything that has a celebration referenoe or oonnotation without first obtaining written permission from the Dublin Area Sesquioentennial Celebration, Ino., a non-profit Ohio corporation, and that no permits, franchies or privileges pertaining to oelebration aotivities will be granted ~ anyone by the Village of Dublin, Ohio, unless such written permission is f..... granted by the aforementioned Dublin Area Sesquicentennial Celebration, Ino. a non-profit corporation. /s/ Charles Thomas Pres. of Counc il Passed this 4th day of April, 1960. /s/ Lewis Geese, Mayor Attest: /s/ Betty Sidle, Clerk-Trease Charles Thomas proposed Ordinanoe 05-60.
