HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-15-02 Admin Com. of Whole MinutesDublin City Council Committee Meeting of the Whole May 15, 2002 6:00 p.m., Council Conference Room Mayor McCash called the meeting to order at 6:25 p.m. Council Members present were Mayor McCash, Ms. Chinnici-Zuercher, Mrs. Boring, Ms. Salay and Mr. Lecklider. Mr. Reiner joined the meeting at 6:45 p.m. Mr. Kranstuber was absent. Also present were Mr. Harding, Director of Human Resources & Procurement and Dr. Greg Kuhn and Sharon Morten of The PAR Group (Paul A. Reaume, Ltd., Public Management Consultants). Ms. Salay moved to adjourn to executive session to discuss a personnel matter, the review of recommended candidates for the City Manager position. Ms. Chinnici-Zuercher seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous in favor of the motion. The meeting was reconvened at 9:15 p.m. Ms. Chinnici-Zuercher moved to direct the consultant to notify the following candidates of their selection as finalists in the process: Curtis M. Allison, William R. Balling, Jane S. Brautigam, Matthew J. Kridler, William A. Lindsay, and Michael E. Morton. Bonnie Ridley Kraft was named as an alternate. Mrs. Boring seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous in favor of the motion. Ms. Chinnici-Zuercher noted that the consultant will proceed with notification of the candidates, and scheduling of interviews will follow. Appointment of Acting Clerk of Council Mr. Reiner moved the appointment of Myra Caplinger, Executive Secretary as Acting Clerk of Council for the period of May 18 through May 24. The Clerk of Council and Assistant Clerk of Council will be attending a national conference out of state during that time. Ms. Salay seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous in favor of the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m. Clerk of Council
