The special meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to order by Mayor Robert Karrer at 8:00 A.M. on March 10, 1979. Roll call - William Callahan, present; Willard Chambers, present; Ronald Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Mand, present; Jacob Shawan, absent. The minutes of the March 5 meeting were read, Mand moved approval, Geese seconded, all present voted in favor of approval. ,... ~ The clerk read a letter of resignation from Dog warden Helen Kinzer. Council accepted the resignation,with regrets. Ordinance 09-79 designating Park Federal as a depository for inactive funds and Ohio State Bank for active funds was read for a third time, all present voted in favor of the ordinance, ordinance 09-79 passed 5-0. Ordinance 18-79 to advertise for two new full size police cruisers was read for a third time, all present voted in favor of the ordinance, ordinance 18.,.79 passed 5-0. Ordinance 22-79 to advertise for Hds for two new police cruisers, one medium size and one full size, was introduced by Mand and read for the first time, Chambers moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Callahan seconded, all present voted in favor of the ordinance, ordinance 22-79 passed 5-0. Resolution 11-79 officially accepting the Master Recreation Plan was read for a second time, ",... Ordinance 23-79 accepting a bid of $2950.00 from Davis Power and Equipment for a road roller was introduced by Headlee and read for the first time, Mand moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Callahan seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance, ordinance 23-79 passed 5-0. -- Ordinance 24-79 accepting a bid for $18,000.00 f., two tractors and one mower from Parrott Implement Company was introduced by Geese and read fo-:- the first time, Geese moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Mand seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance, ordinance 24-79 passed 5-0. Ordinance 25-79 employing Charles Speer as a part time recreation director through December 31, 1979, at a salary of $6.00 per hour not to exceed 835 hours was introduced by Geese and read for the first time, Geese moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Mand seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance, ordinance 25-79 passed 5-0. Resolution 12-79 issuing a contract for the codification of the village ordinance with the Walter H Drane Company was introduced by Callahan and read for the first time. ifili...
