The February 5, 1979, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to
order by Mayor Robert Karrer. Roll call - William Callahan, present; Wil~"
Chambers, present; Ronald Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles
Mand, present; Jacob Shawan, present. The minutes of the Januar,y 22 meeting
were read, Headlee moved approval, Geese seconded, all voted in favor.
The following bills were submitted for payment:

Ordinance 04-79 appointing members to the Board of Zoning Appeals was read
for a second time.
Ordinance 13-79 employing JOhn R Strutner as an adminstrative assistant for
a six months probationary period at an annual salary of $15,000.00 was intro-
duced by Geese and read for the first time, Geese moved to dispense with the
three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Shawan seconded,
all voted in favor of the motiontr and the ordinance. Passed 6-0
Ordinance 14-79 confirming the final appointed of Robin Geia and Richard
Hays as police sergeants was introduced by Geese and read for the first time,
Geese moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Shawan seconded,
all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. Passed 6-0
Ordinance 15-79 prohibing unauthorized use of village fire hydrants was
introduced by Headlee and read for the first time, Callahan moved to dis-
pense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure,
Shawan seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. Passed 6-0
Ordinance 16-79 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids
for two new tractors and mowers was introduced by Mand and read for the first
time, Geese moved to dispense with three time reading rule and pass as an
emergency measure, Sh.awan seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and
the ordinance. Passed 6-0
Ordinance 17-79 authorizing the adminstrator to advertise for bids for a
road roller was introduced by Mand and read for the first time, Shawan moved
to dispense with the three time reading rule, Headlee seconded, all voted in
favor of the motion and the ordinance. Passed 6-0. ",-,.t.--
Mand moved, Geese seconded and it was unanimously passed to send zoning #Z79-o0
concerning 12.19 acres on Sawmill Road to community commercial. Callahan moved,
Chambers seconded, and it was unanimously passed to send to planning and zonin
#Z79-o04 concerning 11.44 acres at C0rner of Sawmill and Martin to R-12 & cc.
Shawan moved, Callahan seconded, and it was unanimously passed to send to P &
t proposed rezoning of Donegal Cliffs to PUD. The clerk read a 1978 report
O~edOg warden Helen Kinzer to counci~70 incidents were reported in 1978.
Mayor Karrer appointed Charles Mand to work with Mrs Kinzer on her recommendat
Jim Evans of Ohio Video services asked about his request for a license. ~o ~t ·
