A special meeting of the Village of Duclin council was called to order by
Mayor Charles Coffman. Roll call - William Callahan, absent; Ronald Geese,
a.bsent; Catherine Iieadlee, present; Robert Karrer, present; Charles Mand,
present; Jacob Shawan, present. The minutes of the March 20 meeting were
read. Mand moved, Karrer seconded, to approve the minutes, all present voted
in favor. The following bills were presented for payment:

Headlee moved payment of the bills, Mand seconded, all present voted in favor.
The regular scheduled meeting of April 3 was not held lecause of lack of a
quorum. Ronald Geese arrived at the meeting at this time.

REsolution 09-78 accepting the bid of Magnus & Company for $652,095.47 in
sewer conds was introduced by Mand and read for the first time, Mand moved to
dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure,
Karrer seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion and the resolution.
REsolution 09-78 passed 5-0.

Resolution 10-78 accepting the lid of Magnus and Company for $653,083.68 in
water bonds was introduced by Karrer and read for the first time. Headlee
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as.an emergency
measure, Mand seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion and the
resolution. Resolution 10-78 passed 5-0.
Ordinance 28A-78 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids
for two new police cruisers was introduced by Headlee and read for the first
time, Mand moved to dispense ,with the three time reading rule and pass as an
emergency measure, Karrer seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion
and the Wdinance. Ordinance 28A-78 passed 5-0.
Ordinance 28B-78 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids
for two new police cruisers was introduced by Headlee and read for the first
time, Karrer moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded
all present voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. Ordinance 28B-78
passed 5-0.

Ordinance 29-78 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids
for a new dump truck was introduced by Shawan and read for the first time,
Mand moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, and pass as an emergen y
measure, Geese seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion and the
Ordinance. Ordinance 29-78 passed 5-0.

Ordinance 30-78 accepting the bids of Gledhill for a new snow plow was
introduced by Mand and read for the first time, Shawan moved to dispense with
the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Karrer seconded,
all present voted in favor of the motion and the Ordinance. Ordinance 30-78
passed 5-0.
