Roll oall - William Callahan, present; Ronald Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Robert Karrer, present; Jacob Shawan. present; and Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the September 6 meeting were read, Headlee moved approval, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of approval of the minutes. ",...- --- Ordinanoe 54-77 was read for a seoond time, and a publia hearing was held, no one spoke for or agU.nst the ordinanoe. Resolution 32-77 authorizing Evergren Company to install a waterline was read for a second time, Callahan moved. Geese seconded and it was unanimously passed to amend the resolution thusly, delete phzase "either aoross private property lying South of the River Forest subdivlision, or in the altertate" and add in seotion two "with the understanding that the waterline can be anywhere within the village right a way and on approval of the village engineer". Ordinance 61-77 on the oompensation of all village employees was introduoed by Shawan and read for the first time. Ordinance 62-77 authorizing the employment of two additional policemen was introduoed by Ulrey and read for the first time. Ordinance 63-77 acoepting the dedioation of Blazer Parkway was introduced by Karrer and read for the first time, Shawan moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Callahan seoonded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinanoe. ".... Geese moved, Karrer seconded and it was unanimously passed to acoept plans for a private road in Muirfield. -- Geese asked that council members be provided Planning and Zoning minutes and copies of proposals for sign ordinance and zoning code changes. Geese moved, Shawan seconded, and it was unanimously passed that counoil subsidize any deficits taourred b.1 a road race being planned by Village residents with the Park and Recreation Committee.
