The March 21, 1911, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to order by Mayor Charles Coffman. Roll call - William Callahan, present; Ronald Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, absent; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the March 1 meeting were read, Karrer moved approval, Geese seconded, all present voted in favor. The clerk read a letter from Muirfield, Ltd., co~aerning final development plans for 38+ acres on Ashraugh Road. Mrs Headlee arrived at this time. On behalf of the Ladies Police AuxilIary Fran Mayer presented the winning flag of the village flag contest. Resolution 08-11 naming the contest winners was unamimously passed. Appropriations for 1911 were discussed, Callahan moved that long term financing of the municipal be considered, no second, Geese introduced Ordinance 19-11 setting final appropriations for 1911, the ordinance was read for the first time, Karrer moved to dispense with the threetime reading and pass as an emer- gency measure, Geese seconded, all voted in favor ~f the motion and the ordinance. ....... Ordinance 20-11 appointing Charles Johnson, Charles Weber, Richard Royce, David Hahm, and Gerald Macklin to the architectural review board was introduced by Ulrey and read for the first time, Geese moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. . Ordinance 21-11 employing Donald A Richardson as village solicitor from June 1, 1911 to May 31, 1918 was introduced by Ulrey and read for the first time. ""... Resolution 09-11 concerning the regulation of traffic on Muiffield Drive and other streets in Muirfield village during the week of the golf tournament was introduced by Geese and read for the first time, Headlee objected to rerouting of the residents of the area, Ulrey moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded, all voted in iwor of the motionand the ordinance. Resolution 10-11 accepting and approving the purchase of cemetery land was introduced by Geese and read for the first time, Karrer moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded, all voted in favor of the mot~On and the resolution. -- Resolution 11-11 approving and accepting dedication of road right=a-way from Jeanne Mooney was introduced by Geese and read for the first time, Karrer moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the resolution. Charles Hicks submitted his resignation as village cancilman, Karrer moved to aceept resignation of Charles Hicks with regret, Ulrey seconded, vote was 5-0 with Hicks abstaining. Mayor will accept applications of interested persons. ~ ..... Headlee asked about push button traffic light at middle school, Ohio Edison street light contract in Muirfie~d, recognizing the high school sport champiio s, Callahan moved to untable the Ohio Edison contract ordinance, Headlee seconded Callahan, yes; Geese, no; Headlee, yes; Karrer, no; Ulrey, no. Vote to un- table failed 2-3. To be on next council agenda. Trash container to be at municipal building around April 1-15. ~ayor Coffman declared the meeting adjourned at 9:51 PM.
