The March 7, 1977 meeting of the Village of Du.-blin council was called to order
by council president Wilbur Ulrey. Roll Call - William Callahan, present;
Ronald Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present: Charles Hicks, present;
Robert Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, presiding. The minutes of the February
21 meeting were read, Karrer moved approval, Geese seconded, all voted in favor

Ordinance 12-77 naming Godwin Bohm Group Corporation as village planner was
read for a third time. All voted in favor of the ordinance.
Ordinance 14-77Ba proposed rezoning of 102 acres on Coffman Road was read for
a second time. (Public hearing April 4, 1977)

Ordinance 17-77 accepting the bid of McDorman Chevrolet of $6614.27 was
introduced by Geese and read for a first time, Geese moved to dispense with the
three time reading rule, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and
the ordinance.

Ordinance 18-77 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids for
a new mower and tractor was introduced by Geese and read for the first time,
Geese moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emer-
gency measure, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the grdfn ce.
ReSOlution 7-77 concerning a Trails End waterline was introduced by Headlee
and read for the first time, Callahan moved to dispense with the three time
reading rule and pass as an emergency measure, Geese seconded, all voted in
favor of the motion and the resolution.
The council dis9ussed the final appropriations for 1977.
Callahan moved, Hicks seconded and it was unamimously passed that council
advise Gerald Galbreath that the village is not interested in the 3.78 acres
on Monterey Drive. Callahan moved, Headlee seconded, and it was unamimously
passed that the Park and Recreation board survey the area and make tentative
recommendation to council as to possible sites for recreation. Geese moved,
Karrer seconded, and it was unamimously passed that the village adminstrator
enter into an agreement with Godwin Bohm for a design for the Avery Road Park.

Council President Ulrey announced that plans of the new mUnicipal building
are available at the municipal building. Council discussed the use of the new
tennis courts and approved use of two of the courts by the high school until
the Park and Recreation board can set rules for usuage.
