The October 18, 1916, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to
order by Mayor Charles Coffmanm roll c~l as follows ";&,.William Callahan, pre-
sent; Ronald Geesef'''Catherine Headleer Charles Hicksr Robert Karrer("Wilbur
Ulrey.~e minutes of the October 4 meeting were read, Headlee moved approval
Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of approval of the minutes.
The following bills were submitted for payment:

Ulrey moved paymentof the bills, iarrer seconded, all voted in favor.
A letter was read from P & Z recommending the granting of a 120 day extension
to Muirfield Ltd concerning development plan, Ulrey moved the granting of the
.120 day extension, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of the extension.
Ordinance 64-76 establishing a building maintainence code was read for a third
time, vote on ordinance 64-76 as follows: Callahan, no; Geese, yes; Headlee,
no; Hicks, no: Karrer, no; Ulrey, no. Ordinance failed.

Ordinance 66-76 establishing salary increases for Robert Eger and Charles T
Pressley was introduced by Geese and read for the first time, Geese moved to
dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency measure,
Karrer seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance.
Qrdinance 67-76 accepting the bid of Andrew Smith for the addition to the
village hall' in the amount of $10,500.00 was introudced by Ulrey and read for
the first time, Karrer moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and
pass as an emergency measure, Ulrey seconded, all voted in favor of the motion
and the ordina~6e..
Ordinance 68-76 amending ordinance 27-74 the subdivision ordinance was intro-
duced by Headlee and read for the first time, ~allahan moved, Hicks seconded
to set a public hearing on December 6, 1976, at 8:00 PM for this ordinance,
all voted in favor of the motion.

Ordinance 69-76 providing for an agreement with Ohio Edison for street light-
ing in Muirfield Village was introduced by Ulrey and read for the first time.

Ordinance 70-16 appointing Richard R Royce, an architect, to design a new
municipal building was introduced by Ulrey and read for the first time, Hicks
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and pass as an emergency
measure, Callahan seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance

Ordinance 71-76 establishing a new pay schedule for the police department was
introduced by ULrey and read for the first time, Karrer moved , Geese seconded
that paragraph 4 dealing with cost of living raise be deleted, all voted in
favor of the motion.
Ordinance 72-76 providing for the issuance of notes to the Ohio National Bank
for waterlines in River Forest was introduced by Geese and read for the first
time, Headlee moved to dispense with the three time reading rule and to pass
as an emergency measure, Hecks seconded, all voted in fa~or of the motion and
the resolution.
The mayor announced that there would be no smoking at future coucnil meetings
and that there would be a break in longer meetings. The mayor declared the
