The May 17, 1976, meetingof the Village of Dublin council was called to order
by the mayor Charles Coffman with the following members present: William
Callahan, Ronald Geese, Catherine Headlee, Charles Hicks, RObertKarrer, and
Wilbur Ulrey, the minutes of the May 3 '/JlI!eting were read, Callahan moved
approval, Hicks seconded, all voted in favor. The foll.wing bills were presetel

Ordinance 35-76 amending ordinance 27-14 subdivision regulations concerning
sewer tap permits was read for a third time, vote on ordinance _ Callahan, yes
Gees, no; Headlee, no: Hicks, no; Karrer, no; Ulrey, no.
Ordinance 33-16 accepting bids for sprinkler and alarm system for maintainence
building was read for a third time, Callahan moved to table, Karrer, seconded,
vote to table, Callahan, yes; Geese, ~es; Headlee, no; Hicks, yes; Karrer,
yes; Ulrey, yes. Callahan moved to suspend the application of the village fire

Resolution 24-16 authorizing and directing the village solicitor to represent
village officials and employees was read for a th~rd time. All jvoted in favor
of the resolution.
Ordinance 36-76 requiring village employees to undergo a physical examination
at least every two years was read for a third time, all voted in favor.
Ordinance 37-16 confirming the appointment of Joshua Vance to lieutenant and
Richard Hays to sergeant was read for a second time, Callahan moved to table
the ordinance as the village as :no qualifying procedures for advancement,
Hicks seconded, Callahan, yes; Geese, no; Headlee, yes; Hicks, yes; Karrer, no:
Ulrey, no. Motion to table failed.

Ordinance 39-76 creating the position of clerical assistant was read for a
second time.

Resolution 2;-16 declaring the necessity of issuing bonds for the const~tion
of River Forest waterlines was read for a second time.
Ordinance 41-16 confirming the appointment of Terry Bartow as a reserve po~~ce
officer was read for a second time.
Resolution 26-16 accepting certain sanitary sewer easements was introduced by
Karrer and read for the first time, Ulrey moved to dispense with the three
time reading rule, Geese seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the
resolution

Ordinance 42-76 entering into an agreement with the State of Ohio to contribute
to and proceed with imporvements at the intersection of state routes 161, 257
and 33 was introduced by Geese and read for the first time, Geese moved to
dispense with the three time reading rule, Karrer seconded, Callahan, no;
Geese, yes; Headlee, yes; Hicks, abstain; Karrer, yes; Ulrey, yes. Motion to
dispense failed.

Plat of Waaerford Village phase one was presented to council, council took no
aBtion because sewer easement not shown and no letter of credit presented.
Council approved printing of village income tax information booklets.
Smi th and Moler presented proposed routing of force main sewer to council.
Ulrey announced special meetings with engineers and planners.
