The January 5, 1976 meeting .f the Village Council of Dublin
was called to order by Mayor Charles Coffman. Sherman Sheldon
was appointed Acting Clerk for the meeting. Roll Call was as
follows: Callahan, present Geese, present, Headlee, present
Hicks, present, Karrer, absent and Ulrey, present. The minutes
of the Dec. 15, 1975 meeting were read, two corrections were
noted, and made, and Ulrey moved approval of the amended min-
utes, Hicks seconded and all present voted in favor. The foll-
owing bi lis were submitted for payment:

Hicks moved payment of the bills, Headlee seconded, all present
voted in favor. Mr. Ulrey was unanimously selected as Council
President and Mr. Callahan was unaninmously selected as Council
representative to P & Z.

Ordinance 69-75 changing zoning on a 10 acre tract from L.I. to
R-4 was read for the third time. All present voted in favor of
the Ord i rn,,,ce.
Ordinance 01-76 appointing members of the Zoning Appeals Board
was introduced by Ulrey and read for the first time. Headlee
moved to dispense with thettthree time reading rule, seconded by
Ulrey. Motion failed, ordi~nce will be read for the second time
Jan. 19, 1976.

Ordinance 02-76 appointing members of the Architectural Board
was introduced by Hicks and read for the first time. Ulrey
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, seconded
by Geese. Motion failed, Ordinance will be read for the second
time Jan. 19, 1976.

Ord~nce 03-76 Appointing members to Parks and Recreation
Committee was introduced by Hicks and read for the first time.
Ulrey moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, there
was no second. Ordinance will be read for the second time Jan.
19, 1976.

Ordinance 04-76 amending Ord. 19-75 was introduced by Hicks
and read for the first time.
Ordinance 05-76 to advertise for bids for garbage and rubbish
collection was introduced by Hicks and read fer the first time.
A number of amendments to said Ordinance were introduced, Call-
ahan moved that the amendments be approved, seconded by Geese,
aJI present voted in favor of the amendments.
Ordinance 06-76 for Temporary 1976 Appropriations was ineroduced
by Hicks and read for the first time. Hicks moved to dispense
with the three time reading rule, seconded by Callahan, all
present voted in favor of the motion and the Ordinance.

Ordinance 07-76 to transfer funds from the General Fund to the
Safety-Police fund was introduced by Hicks and read for the
first time. Hicks moved to dispense with the three time reading
rule, seconded by Callahan, all present voted in favor of the
motion and the Ordinance.
Ordinance 08-76 dealing with compensation of the Village Ad-
ministrator was introduced by Hicks and read for the first time.
An amendment to said Ordinance was introduced by Callahan and
seconded by Hicks, all present voted in favor of the amendment.
Hicks moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, secondtd
by Geese, all present voted in favor of the motion and the Ord-
i nance.
Ordinance 09-76 dealing with acceptance of the I.O.O.F. Cemetary
was introduced by Ulrey and read for the first time.

Mr. Braithwaite of Muirfield Ltd. asked that Council consider
changing the sequence or timing on zoning Ordinances so that
the third reading and the public hearing and vote on the Ord~
inance would all be on the same date. The Solicitor will check
into the matter and report back to Council.
Mayor Coffman asked Counci I to give some thought to the followin~ :
I. The possibility of having plans drawn for a new municipal
bui Iding and the construction of a part of said building in 1976.
2. The moving of the Police Department to the rental property on
PosttRoad to allow more efficient police operations and to give
the Administrator and Bldg Inspector more room in the present
municipal building.
Mayor Coffman declared the meeting adjourned at 11:05 P.M.
